Super Hero Christmas

Miranda Hite   -This is Miranda’s first year to participate in Christmas Card Lane. She is a self-taught artist born in a small town in southern West Virginia. She began drawing/creating at the age of three. She drew on anything that would hold still long enough and even some that did not. She moved to Alabama five years ago with her husband of 19 years and 2 children. Her passion is ART! Some of the mediums she has used include acrylics, oils, pastels, watercolor, and pencil. Trying new thing and learning new techniques helps her grown and enrich her love for art. Throughout her life creating whimsical characters with vibrant colors and personalized pieces has been her passion. She has sold and displayed her work in craft shows and festivals in Northern Alabama. Miranda’s life size card was inspired by her children and her husband. They share a love for comic book characters. She used a traditional snowman to portray the super heroes and their super Christmas spirit.
