Cheryl Mellema

My creativity crosses over into many different mediums from acrylic and watercolor paintings to drawing and crochet. I have done decorative art/tole painting, murals, canvas and pretty much anything I could get my hands on. In 2011 volunteered to redesign the inside of the “Dogwood Diner” tree house for the Huntsville Botanical Garden and in 2012 I was selected, 1 of 35 local artists, to paint one of the 6′ tall butterflies for their “Green Things & Butterfly Wings” Spring and Summer celebration.

In 2013 I’m looking forward to organizing some workshops, being involved in the local art movement, meeting new people and finding fun new ways to share my art in my community.
