Mark your calendar! The 2015 Art 4 Paws festival date is Saturday, April 18th. Vendor applications, pup participation forms, and sponsorship information will be available shortly. Stay Tuned!

This growing event brings the love of art and pets together for a day of fun the entire family will enjoy, right down to Fido!

Local and regional artists will be selling unique, one-of-a-kind wares. You’ll find whimsical garden art, jewelry, paintings, plus fun pet items, just to name a few.

If you are considering adding a canine or feline to your family, this is the perfect event to find a new addition. With several shelters and rescue groups on-site, you’ll have the opportunity to meet adorable four-legged friends who are looking to adopt a new family too!

The Amateur Dog Show is a new addition to the Art 4 Paws Festival. We will feature online application soon and on-site registration will begin at 1:30 p.m. and will include a $5 fee per dog. Registration will be limited to the first 70 dogs. Judging starts at 2 p.m. Categories include “Smallest,” “Largest,” “Best Personality,” “Best Trick,” “Best Dressed” and “Best in Show.” A special category, “Top Dog,” will feature dogs available for adoption from animal rescue groups that will be on site. First-place winners in each category will receive a plaque, and second and third place winners will receive ribbons. The $5 fee allows dog owners to enter their dogs in as many categories as they would like. Contact art4paws@artsmadison.org if you have any questions.

We’ll also have professional photographers and painters on-hand to capture your pet’s personality in their unique way. Be sure to stop by these booths to commemorate the day!

It all kicks-off at 10:00 a.m. and ends at 3:00 p.m.
