Alabama Cotton Christmas

Emily Barkley   - Emily lives in Madison, Alabama with her husband and son. She stays busy with work at Huntsville Hospital spending time with her husband and raising their son. She is a visual artist who primarily works with acrylics and watercolor but specializes in mixed media collage. She studied art/painting at the University of Montevallo. Art is her hobby and passion that she is starting to rediscover every day! This is Emily’s first year in Christmas card lane. She grew up in North Alabama and truly loves the natural surroundings. Cotton fields are one of her favorite subjects and this year the cotton fields have been amazing! She decided to incorporate cotton in her Christmas card submission as it is such an important part of our community and the history of Madison, Alabama.
